Our fourth (and final) stretch of parenting through the many adventures of teen years has officially begun...YAY us!!! For all of you who’ve raised a teen you know what type of adventure I'm talking about 😆 Teenage angst is the real deal and while this may sound strange…I actually welcome it in😳 Yep, ALL those teen feels are the signs of a typical youth growing into adulthood and when you have experienced non-typical road to adulthood, you realize that the typical teen years are actually a good thing...like a *really* good thing 😜 For the past 30 years, Reggie and I have always done things our way when it comes to parenting We’ve never been much for parenting books or blogs - not that there’s anything wrong with them- we’ve just never used them🤷🏼♀️ Instead, we’ve forged our own path, the one that makes the most sense to us and so, far we like to think we’ve done pretty well 😂 We've raised successful, kind and loving adult children And along with being amazing humans...we actually enjoy their company 🤣 They are simply my favorite humans There is no place I’d rather be than with just the 6 of us And the best part is they seem to enjoy our company too!
